What this portal is
The portal is the public claim base of the Science of Generation. Every conclusion is a claim with a stable ID (SGC-0001 …), an epistemic tier, the rigor of the inference that supports it, its premises, its sources, its proof or data links, and its correction history. IDs never encode the tier: tiers can change, IDs cannot, and an ID is never reused.
The nine tiers are foundation, theorem, empirical, structural inference, interpretive, lexical, engineering, programmatic and rejected. Their definitions and the cascade rules are on the tiers page.
The cascade check
The tier of a conclusion equals the minimum of the tiers of its logical premises and the rigor of the inference. The server recomputes the whole graph every time a claim or an edge changes, and a claim cannot be published while it violates the rule. A conservative declaration by the author propagates downstream on purpose. An unguarded logical cycle is not an error: its whole strongly connected component is capped at structural inference.
When a published claim becomes inconsistent because something upstream changed, it is not taken offline silently; its card shows "tier under review" until the author settles it.
Limits of the check
The cascade checks consistency, not truth. The rigor of an inference is declared by the author: if an interpretive reading were declared as "theorem, proof", the cascade itself would not notice (this was tested on the seed claim SGC-0040).
There are three lines of defence. The schema requires every theorem to carry a proof link or an external anchor in established mathematics; a warning keeps asking for machine-checkable proofs where only an anchor exists; and every change of tier is recorded in a public change log open to outside scrutiny.
Two ways in
"By phase" follows the internal structure of the work, its seven parts from Boundary to Return. "By discipline" is a dictionary-level correspondence with the vocabularies of existing disciplines. Both lead to the same claims.
The discipline entrances follow the "linguistic licence" of Part A: a ladder built in the other party's language, to be withdrawn once climbed.
Archive and machine access
The whole base is exported as YAML (one file per record) and archived in Git; tagged releases receive DOIs through Zenodo. The same data is available through a REST API, WordPress Abilities and an MCP server for AI agents; agents should first read the manifest, which carries the tier table.
English texts are drafts unless marked otherwise. Where an English field is missing, the Chinese text is shown and marked "English translation pending".
