Getting started

New to the science of generation? Read in these four steps.

No mathematical background is needed. The first two steps build the overall picture, the third enters the formalisation, the fourth reaches the open problems.

  1. Step 1Two sciencesRead the overview: the operators being and generation, the boundary of proper classes, the containment asymmetry.
  2. Step 2Mutual arising and rotorsRead the key concepts: Dao, differentiation, mutual arising, rotor, individual — the conceptual chain.
  3. Step 3Yin-yang and Five PhasesRead the formalisation: the two tracks, why five, and why overcoming is the square of generation.
  4. Step 4To the frontierLook at the open problems and the public claim base, where every claim is tiered.

Three ways in

You need not accept the whole world view first: read by moments of generation (the subject map), enter through a discipline you know (concepts and entries), or start from a hard problem you care about (the problem map) and see what the science of generation did with it, how it was tested and what came out.

The conceptual chain

Dao (operation) → differentiation (event) → mutual arising (relation) → rotor (structure) → individual (manifestation) → attribute (description). Ontology starts from individuals and moves to attributes; the science of generation starts from the Dao and reaches individuals through differentiation and mutual arising. The two paths meet at the individual: one takes it as starting point, the other as product.

Common misunderstandings

Is the science of generation superior to Western science?

No. The two stand in a relation of containment, not of value. As a degenerate projection, the science of being is complete within its domain — that is where modern science succeeds.

Is it a new first principle?

No. It has no axioms; the Dao is an operator, not a highest being; the theory practises its own principles (autologicality).

Are the Five Phases five elements?

No. They are the smallest closed rotor carrying two irreducible relations at once, generation (step 1) and overcoming (step 2); the number is fixed by number theory.

Do the trigrams correspond to DNA codons?

The isomorphism of the order-64 groups is theorem-level; but which hexagram matches which codon is not unique — interpretive, never a basis for calculation.
